Scenarios:
- You or your team have implemented various Microsoft Dynamics applications or for your client. Although there are chances of customer complaining on how to check the health status of various applications they use.
Business Central Health Status (On-Premises):
- Use a /Health/System as a suffix to get if web-client of Business Central On-Premises is working fine. This will test Web Client, Service Tier and Database Connection.
https://<DNS URL or IP Address>/<service name>/Health/System
- IP address is least recommended until there is a proper network architecture / security complied.
- For example, https://bc.customer.com/Production/Health/System
- Response from link would be in JSON format with object as ‘result’ in true/false. If result is true, the service health is in working condition. If result is false, then service is stopped.
Business Central Online:
- Login to https://admin.microsoft.com/ with Admin email ID.
- On left navigation pane, check for Health tab:
- If you don’t see Health tab, click on Show All.
- There are various sub-tabs in it, which will help identify or report any outages to Microsoft directly.
Azure Tools:
- Access and login to https://azure.status.microsoft/en-us/status
- This portal lists all the Azure tools at Microsoft with different regions listed on matrix.
Microsoft 365:
- Access to https://portal.office.com/servicestatus
- This lists all the Microsoft 365 services and its health status
